Temperature and Best Season

The best time to visit the north is between October and March; temperatures are pleasant, the days dry and sunny. From December through to mid-January early morning fog in and around Delhi can disrupt travel plans with flights often delayed or sometimes cancelled. Night temperatures in Rajasthan and the plains often reach freezing point during the winter and it can be chilly before sunrise. April through to August is hot. Early summer is good for wildlife viewing, the parks are free of visitors, vegetation is dry and game easily spotted.

Arrival at Delhi
Day 1

After a warm welcome at the international airport in Delhi, you will be escorted by a Castle and King representative to

your hotel. Relax for the remaining part of the day and get ready for a memorable Rajasthan Heritage Tour with Castle

Delhi - Agra
Day 2

Drive to the historic city of Agra on day 2 of your Rajasthan Heritage Tour. Our Castle and King representative will help

you check into your hotel. Rest awhile before embarking on a visit to the ethereal Taj Mahal that is universally

considered to be the ultimate symbol of everlasting love. This monumental wonder was built by Mughal Emperor Shah

Jahan in the memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal who died in 1631. After this memorable rendezvous, return to

your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Agra - Jaipur
Day 3

As part of your Rajasthan Heritage Tour, travel to Jaipur that is at a distance of 221 km away from Agra. You arrive at

Jaipur in the afternoon after which a Castle and King representative will escort you to your hotel. Spend the remaining

part of the day at leisure or venture out for some shopping and exploration. Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Day 4

Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel before setting out on an exciting trip to the Amber Fort that is located on a

steep hill. Indulge in a thrilling elephant ride to the entrance of the fort that houses a number of exquisite palaces,

gardens and interesting artifacts. Enjoy breathtaking views of the Jaipur city from the ramparts of the Amber Fort before

returning to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Jaipur - Udaipur
Day 5

Travel to the beautiful city of Udaipur on day 5 of the Rajasthan Heritage Tour. Also known as the "city of lakes", Udaipur

is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Rajasthan. It was built by Maharana Udai Singh on the advice of a

hermit and floats like a dream beside the Pichola Lake. Check into a hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 6

Udaipur has always been described as a romantic city that simply mesmerizes everyone. Visit some of the enchanting

attractions of Udaipur as part of your Rajasthan Heritage Tour. Visit the City Palace, Saheliyon ki Bari, Lake Pichola,

Jagdish Temple and so on. Drive to the "pink city" of Jaipur somewhere in the afternoon. Check into a hotel on arrival.

Overnight stay will be at the hotel.

Udaipur - Jodhpur
Day 7

Drive to the regal city of Jodhpur that is 260 km away. You will stop to visit the 15th century Ranakpur temples that

boast of 29 halls that are supported by 200 intricately carved pillars. It must be mentioned that no two pillars are alike

that speaks a lot about their creator`s artistic genius. On reaching Jodhpur, check into a hotel and rest awhile. Set out to

visit the Umaid Bhawan Palace and the museum. Return to your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8

On day 8 of your Rajasthan Heritage Tour, enjoy a morning village safari that would acquaint you with the rich culture of

Rajasthan. Indulge in a sightseeing tour of the city that has boasted some of the greatest rulers in the history of

Rajasthan. Visit the Mehrangarh Fort that is one of the most famous historical structures in Rajasthan. Stay overnight at

Jodhpur - Jaisalmer
Day 9

Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast before driving to the desert city of Jaisalmer that is around 300 km away from Jodhpur.

Rising up like a dream in the midst of the Thar Desert, Jaisalmer is truly one of the most romantic cities you can visit in

Rajasthan. After you arrive at this amber hued city, check into a hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 10

You Rajasthan Heritage Tour takes you on a sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer. Visit the grand Jaisalmer Fort and the

exquisite havelis that are scattered around the city. You can also visit the Barabagh Hill and the Gandhi Sagar Tank

Jaisalmer - Bikaner
Day 11

Drive to Bikaner that is 330 km away from Jaisalmer. This wonderful fortified city is really a treat to the senses with its

worldly feel to it. Check into a hotel on arrival and stay overnight.

Bikaner - Mandawa
Day 12

As part of the Rajasthan Heritage Tour, enjoy a detailed sightseeing trip around Bikaner that was built by Rao Bikaji in

1488. Visit the famous Junagarh Fort, the Karni Mata Mandir where rats are worshipped and the unique camel-breeding

Mandawa - Delhi
Day 13

Mandawa is famous for its painted havelis that were built by the wealthy business families of the region in the medieval

ages. Decorated with elaborate frescoes and murals these havelis offer you a wonderful glimpse into the rich artistic

history of the region. Explore these exquisite havelis before visiting Mahensar and Dundlod besides meeting the local

village chief. Return to Delhi in the afternoon. On arrival, check in at a hotel an overnight stay.

Day 14

On the final day of your Rajasthan Heritage Tour, our Castle and King representative will take on a sightseeing tour of

historic Delhi. Apart from being the capital city of India, Delhi also boasts of a rich history that fascinates many. Visit

the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat, Chandni Chowk, Qutub Minar, Lotus Temple, Humayun`s Tomb, India Gate, and so

on. You will also be able to see the grand Rashtrapati Bhawan (President`s mansion) and the Parliament during your Delhi

tour. You will also be able to indulge in some last minute shopping before attending a Dances of India show in the

evening. Enjoy a farewell dinner before driving to the airport to board your return flight.
