Temperature and Best Season

The best time to visit the north is between October and March; temperatures are pleasant, the days dry and sunny. From December through to mid-January early morning fog in and around Delhi can disrupt travel plans with flights often delayed or sometimes cancelled. Night temperatures in Rajasthan and the plains often reach freezing point during the winter and it can be chilly before sunrise. April through to August is hot. Early summer is good for wildlife viewing, the parks are free of visitors, vegetation is dry and game easily spotted.

Arrival at Delhi
Day 1

Upon arrival at the International Airport at New Delhi, you will be met by our representative who will help you book into

your hotel.

Day 2

Delhi, the capital of India, is a city of many delights. The city`s origin is lost in the mists of time, and the few

thousand-year-old Purana Quila in the Old City, or the 500-year-old Red Fort, testify to the grandeur of the city. Travel

though the narrow by lanes of Chandni Chowk, where you can pick up jewelry, textiles, hand crafted items and antiques.

The adventurous can savor the savory street food on offer. Pay your respect to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat, the serene

memorial site of the Apostle of Peace. In New Delhi, you will be taken on a tour of the delightful British built monuments

of Lutyens era, including the Rashtrapati Bhawan, home to the President, the Parliament of the world`s largest democracy,

the India Gate memorial, and the Lotus Temple. Dinner will be provided at the hotel.

Delhi- Agra
Day 3

After breakfast, you will be driven to Agra, 250 kilometers away. Agra, the very name invokes images of the Taj Mahal,

the world`s greatest monument to love. Built in the 17th century by Emperor Shah Jehan in the memory of his wife, the Taj

Mahal was built in 17 years. The delicately etched walls, the stone inlaid niches and the four tall minarets on the corners

of the Taj are the things dreams are made of. The tombs of the emperor and his wife, lying side by side, are a poignant

testimony to their love.

Day 4

From Agra, you will be taken to Jaipur, covering 221 kilometers by road. On arrival at Jaipur in the afternoon, you will be

taken to a hotel where you can relax, or spend the day strolling through the wonderful city. Dinner and a good nights

sleep at the hotel will get you ready for next day`s sightseeing.

Day 5

The Amber Fort, is one of the landmarks of the Pink City. Rides of elaborately decorated elephants, with embroidered

caparisons, gives you a feel of royal lifestyles of the Rajput rulers of the state. Get a feel of the life and times of the

Rajput rulers as you visit the well preserved museums, palaces, gardens and halls inside the Fort. Visit the bazaars of

Jaipur, where you can pick up some delightful hand crafted items like carpets, jewelry and pottery. The night will be

spent at your hotel.

Day 6

Early in morning, you will leave for Jodhpur, 280 kilometers away. The well laid out roads allow you to complete your

journey in 6 hours. After checking into your hotel at Jodhpur, you will have the afternoon free for lunch and relaxation,

after which you will be given a tour of the city. Jodhpur, the site of the massive Meherangarh Fort, is a city famous for its

colorful culture and warm people. The invincibility of the Fort earned it the title of "Pearl Among India`s Forts" from no

less than Babar, the fierce Mughal warrior king. Tour the opulent Moti Mahal, Sheesh Mahal and Phool Mahal Palaces

within the Fort, and take a look at the narrow lanes and by lanes of the old bazaars within the fort. Also visit the Umaid

Bhawan Palace, now housing a heritage hotel.

Day 7

After breakfast, your journey to Udaipur starts. The Lake City, 250 kilometers away, has been called the "Venice of the

East". One of the most romantic destinations on your Tour Package for Rajasthan, Udaipur is a city of shimmering lakes

and clear canals. After checking into your hotel at Udaipur, you can spend the day at your leisure.

Day 8

Visit the lovely lakeside palaces of Udaipur. The Lake Palace, by the shores of the clear Lake Pichola, and the Jag Mandir,

built on an island in the Lake, are the highlights of your Tour Package for Rajasthan. The City Palace, now housing a

luxury hotel, is still home to the descendants of the rulers of Udaipur. The boat ride on the romantic Lake Pichola is an

unforgettable experience. Overnight stay at Udaipur.

Day 9

From Udaipur, you will be taken to Pushkar, the site of the famous animal fair. The journey involves a brief stop at Ajmer,

where the shrine of saint Moinuddin Chisti beckons to the faithful on a difficult pilgrimage. Later, at Pushkar, you will be

pilgrimage center.
